The Bugatti Chiron has been on the market for quite some time. Indeed, the tricolor supercar was launched in 2016 to replace the legendary Chiron, which also remained in the brand’s catalog for many years. Indeed, it was sold between 2005 and 2015 and was produced in a total of 450 units. A few months later, the super sports car we know today was born and is still in development. But that shouldn’t last too long as the brand, recently acquired by Rimac, plans to launch an all-new electrified model within the next few years. Then he will have the difficult task of replacing the current Chiron, who will step down.

Another 100 copies
In total, only 500 examples of the hand-built supercar will be producedMolsheim plant in Alsace. And now the French company reports that the 400th copy has just left the shop. This is the Chiron Super Sport, the only version still in production, while the standard variant and Sport have already left the brand’s catalog. Thus, only one hundred examples remain to be produced before the Chiron era finally ends and the page turns for the manufacturer. However, he has yet to collect Mistrallimited to 99 copies as well as 40 Bolide units.
Exceptional technical passport
As a reminder, the Bugatti Chiron has a W16 8.0 l equipped with four powerful turbo engines from 1500 to 1600 horsepower depending on the version. Then it’s the same engine as the Veyron. Thus, the next car of the brand will be electrified, equipped with hybrid mechanics. But at this point, we know next to nothing about it, and neither Bugatti nor Rimac are releasing any details at the moment. So be patient…
