in Group Renault has just released the outlines of the third chapter of his strategic plan “Renaulution”, christened “Revolution” and which follows “Resurrection” and “Renovation”.

Faced with changes in legislation and customer expectations, the automotive industry must transform, and Renault will now focus on electric vehicles, software systems, new mobility services, as well as the circular economy.

Renault: “Revolution” in the organization of the French manufacturer

In detail, the Renault group will henceforth be organized around several subdivisions. The first, called “Power”, will continue the activities of the traditional core business of Renault and combine internal combustion engines and hybrid cars of the Renault and Dacia brands, as well as SUVs. Renault and Geely will now manage this new organization on a 50/50 basis, while the French group is in talks with Nissan and Mitsubishi to continue their cooperation within the Alliance.

100% electric vehicles of the Renault brand will be managed by a new organization called “Ampere” and which will employ about 10,000 people in France and 3,500 engineers, half of whom specialize in embedded software. Renault is working with Qualcomm Technologies and Google to develop its new on-board technologies.

Alpine will continue its path as a full-fledged manufacturer focused on technology and productivity. The Dieppe brand is developing an all-new range that will be fully electric from 2026 and will aim to be attractive internationally. We should soon see the new-generation A110, along with a B-segment sedan and a C+ segment crossover, with two larger models from the D and E segments rounding out the lineup later.

Renault: mobility services with Mobilize

Mobilize is a subsidiary of the Renault group that deals with new forms of mobility, energy and data services. Its business is built around Mobilize Financial Services, a financial services company with 4 million customers, which will expand into subscription, insurance and operational leasing.

Mobilize’s offering will expand to become a provider of vehicles, mobility solutions, energy and data to meet the needs of individual customers, fleets and mobility operators.
