
On the occasion of the China International Import Expo, currently taking place in Shanghai, China, Honda has unveiled a new concept car that foreshadows the brand’s future 100% electric models: Honda e:N2 concept.
In China, as in Europe, Honda is now betting on its electric vehicles to transform itself into an electrified mobility brand: “The e:N2 concept represents the value of our e:N series, which will redefine the pleasure that electric vehicles can offer customers, with their unique driving pleasure and value as a space of mobility and design”the Japanese brand said in a press release.
Honda e:N2 Concept: sharp style
Features of the exterior style of the Honda e:N2 Concept toned and dynamic body lines, as well as matte paint, which emphasizes the futuristic and modern spirit of the model. This design wants to reduce with current productions much more consensual.
In particular, we find a light signature with marked corners, front and rear, and an illuminated logo at the front, as well as an illuminated Honda script at the rear. Even if the Japanese firm has not announced the dimensions of its new model, it seems to be a perfect competitor for the Tesla Model 3 or Toyota bZ3.

Honda e:N2 Concept: clean interior
Aboard, the spirit is particularly minimalist : it was designed as a living space where passengers can enjoy their journey without being distracted by the technological aspects. Special work was done on lighting as well atmospheric perfumeand the instrument panel is covered with see-through fabric infotainment system Honda Connect at its core.
The driver’s position is elegant, with a rectangular steering wheel and instruments completely projected onto the windshield thanks to projection display system. L’Artificial Intelligence is also invited on board, and we should find similar features next year on the brand’s production models.
Honda e:N2 Concept: 100% electric sedan
The Honda e:N2 concept sits on a platform “e:N Architecture F”, is entirely dedicated to Honda’s upcoming electric vehicles that will soon be in production. At the moment, the Japanese firm has not revealed any information regarding the characteristics of its electric motor or battery.
However, Honda clarifies that the chassis combines comfort and driving pleasure, conveying accurate information to the driver so that the latter can enjoy a strong “sense of oneness” with the car. Technology is also on the rendezvous with Honda Sensing 360 systemwith which all models of the brand will be equipped until 2030. It includes a front-facing camera, as well as a set of sensors throughout the car to control safety systems and assist the driver.
The model is also equipped with autonomous driving functions, and also warns the driver about the need to pass approaching vehicles at intersections with limited visibility. It is also capable of driving autonomously on the highway, adjusting its speed to situations such as approaching bends and autonomously changing lanes.
