Cameras are everywhere these days, and to be honest, they’re almost impossible to avoid unless you’re on absolutely impeccable behavior. What most of us don’t do, let’s not lie to ourselves. And it’s not set to get any better as the government plans to install even more advanced cabs on our roads in 2023 than ever before. And then the turnover should literally jump, although it has already been particularly high in recent years. But France is not the only country in Europe that is struggling in this way speed. Sweden also has a lot of speed cameras on the roads. And it seems that someone decided to drive them away a long time ago.

A mysterious phenomenon

Indeed, as with us, it happens that salons become the target of dissatisfied motorists. But not so much that 70 of them were destroyed in just one short week. But that’s what happened in Sweden last August. And the phenomenon returned because, according to journalists, it is very serious New York Times, a further decrease occurred in October. In total, no less than 150 radars were destroyed again in a few days. But then, what explains these attacks on these machines? At this point, the mystery still remains intact, but some are suggesting the beginning of an answer that is, to say the least, fantastic.

Blame the Russians

One military blogger told the New York Times that “ Thieves come from somewhere, but I think the sponsors are even further […] You won’t see this kind of serial flight without a specific team“. For him, these flights will be ordered by the Russian army, which will need Nikon cameras to build its military drones as part of the war againstUkraine. A surprising explanation, which, however, is difficult to convince. Hopefully, we will get an answer to this case soon!
