The model range of the new Peugeot 408 revolves around 3 configurations : Allure, Allure Pack and GT, with a good level of standard equipment. Peugeot 408 (2022): which finish to choose?
At the elementary level, Peugeot 408 Allure very well equipped: this trim includes dual-zone automatic air conditioning, active lane departure warning, automatic high beam, hands-free start, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10-inch Peugeot i cabin, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment infotainment system with connected GPS navigation and i-Toggles, Safety Pack, Active Safety Brake, Safety Plus Pack and Drive Assist, LED headlights, rear view camera and rear radar or tinted windows and rear glass. Hybrid versions also benefit from adaptive cruise control.

The premium version itself is the finish line GT which for an additional €3,100 adds Clean Cabin, Driver Sport Pack, motorized tailgate with hands-free access, Peugeot Connect SOS & Assistance, semi-autonomous control level 2 in the Drive Assist Plus package, lane keeping assistance, i-Cockpit 3D, LED headlights Matrix, Mesh/TEP/Alcantara upholstery and heated leather steering wheel.
Peugeot 408 (2022): which engine to choose?
The Peugeot 408 offers a choice between 3 engines : motor 1.2-liter PureTech gasoline engine with a capacity of 130 horsepoweras well as two motors gasoline hybrids are chargedwhich are divided into 180 and 225 horsepower. All versions are offered with an EAT8 automatic transmission.
Simply put, it seems to us the best choice 1.2 liter PureTech 130 horsepower. Performance is adequate on a daily basis and consumption is under control, with value 6.0 l/100 km according to the WLTP mixed cycle.
