There are only a few days left until the first vacations for the long-awaited holidays Toussaint. A well-deserved rest for workers and children, which, however, must be complicated by the current situation. Indeed, for several weeks TotalEnergies and Esso-ExxonMobil employees have been blocking depots and oil refineries, demanding a 10% wage increase. For improvement?

If the unions do not seem to want to let go, the government is preparing for tough measures. Although the applications are already organized, Emmanuel Macron wants to find a solution as soon as possible. The latter has more than that expressed the desire for visible improvements before the All Saints’ Day “as explained by BFM TV. According to a government source, the president insisted on the spirit of responsibility of all and reminded of the unbearable consequences for those who suffer from the situation“. For her part, Elizabeth Bourne promises that ” if there are very tense situations tomorrow, we will also make requisitions“.
