Among the novelties of Rapido 2023 is a streamlined motor home Rapido C55 is updated with the introduction of a new carrier, the Peugeot Boxer, which replaces the Fiat Ducato with a 140bhp 2.2-litre BlueHDi diesel engine.
It displays fairly compact dimensions: 6.72 meters long, 2.17 meters wide and 2.75 meters high, all with a 3.80 meter wheelbase.
Rapido C55: smart layout
Inside, the layout is quite classic with a front seating area consisting of two swivel seats, an L-shaped seat and a pull-out table. A small folding seat complements the seating opposite the doors, while the large panoramic sunroof provides ample light on board.
Not far from it, a compact kitchen set has a sink, a two-burner glass stove with screen printing and a glass lid, storage space and Compressor refrigerator 85 l.

Rapido C55: a lot of equipment
Opposite, the bathroom has a wash basin, mirror, storage space, shower head with grate, and a compact cassette toilet, not to mention a skylight with mosquito net and a tumble dryer. It also stands out for its Duo’Space system, equipped with a revolving wall which divides spaces.
In the back we find a bedroom with two separate beds 80 x 199 cm and 80 x 185 cm, which can be transformed into a large transverse double bed thanks to the superstructure placed in the middle. There is an active slat base as well as a high-resilience foam mattress. There is even a small closet under the beds.
Rapido C55: price increase
At the front, the dining area can be transformed into a third bed add., to accommodate an additional person at night. Under the bedroom is a garage, thanks to which the height of 120 cm and two gates measuring 100 x 75 cm can accommodate bicycles.
The new Rapido C55 2023 is sold at a starting price from 66,500 euros. Higher price compared to the previous crop, which was listed at around €55,500: A change of carrier and supply difficulties have literally caused prices to skyrocket…
