In recent months, we can really say that reminder come one after the other for manufacturers. However, they have nothing to do with each other and all deal with different problems, most of which are easy to solve in a short time. We mention, for example, Ferrari, which is currently recalling some of its models due to a problem related to the brake fluid reservoir. Kia and Hyundai also had to recall its EV6 and Ioniq 5 due to a problem with the electric brakes, while Tesla has to update to fix a fault with the windows of some cars. But this is not the end.

Hyundai Ioniq on recall
Indeed, after EV6 and i30 Recently, another model in the Hyundai lineup is now affected by a recall campaign. This time it’s the Ioniq, introduced in 2016 and available in hybrid, battery hybrid and electric. Unless the latter is the problem, the first two are subject to a recall announced in the United States NHTSA, the equivalent of our road safety. Then at least 10,000 copies will have to be returned to the dealership due to the risk of fire. This is caused by a problem in the electrical system. If it has already been fixed, it is not enough.
.
A broad reminder
Therefore, the recall affects Ioniq hybrids assembled between November 16, 2016 and August 16, 2017, as well as hybrid versions released from the network on August 10 and 11, 2017. Nothing has been announced for Europe at this time, but customers from the Old Continent may also be affected by this issue. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact your dealer for more information.
