Reminders are linked for several weeks. Admittedly, this happens very regularly, especially with new cars. They sometimes suffer from a few small problems of youth due to a launch that in some cases was too premature. But it happens that slightly older models also suffer, as in the case of Ferrari. Indeed, many models were recalled due to a problem with the brake fluid reservoir cap, which could then cause a leak. Recently, the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 have also been the subject of a recall campaign, this time due to a parking brake issue. Finally, several Ford models were also forced to return to the garage due to various minor problems. But today it is about a different brand.

Some problems in Land Rover

Indeed, now it’s Land Rover’s turn to launch a new recall campaign. This does not apply to the entire assortment, but to a separate model Discovery Sports. And this time the concern is quite serious as it concerns airbags, an important element of passenger safety in the event of an accident. Except that the large SUV has a rather annoying anomaly. Indeed, in some cases it happens that the one integrated into the steering wheel does not deploy properly and then inflates only partially. To make matters worse, it sometimes spews out metal fragments that obviously pose a very serious danger to passengers.

.

An important number

While we don’t yet know the exact number of units affected by this concern, it is said to be around 6000. This number could be even higher. Interested drivers should receive a letter from the brand inviting them to attend concession. Then a few hours should be enough to repair the car, and the brand announces about half a day of immobilization.
