A bold version of the R5 EV, demonstrating the concept ultra-wide wheel arches and a very aggressive aerodynamic kit. The proportions are almost identical to the R5 Turbo, but the wheels are significantly wider and aerodynamic as they are full, all with lowered suspension. The rear is spectacular, p massive fin mounted on the windshield and an equally large dual diffuser.
Up front, we find a full-width LED bar paired with rally-style lights positioned lower on the bumper and a huge hood opening. Unfortunately, the images are dark and we can’t see all the details, although it’s clear that this build looks specifically for the track. What we see is two sports bucket seats Saber is very well lit.
The tribute stops at the style
The R5 Turbo 1980s was equipped with a mid-mounted 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, but the concept will definitely use electric motors. Renault hasn’t released power and performance figures, but it’s safe to assume the concept will be significantly more powerful than any of its predecessors.
