On the occasion of the event called “Jeep 4xe Day”, the American manufacturer revealed its road map for the coming years: it is not surprising that Jeep will bet on electrification with the aim of becoming the first brand of electrified SUVs in the world. By 2030, 100% of the brand’s sales in Europe will be 100% electric, while in the United States, Jeep is aiming for a 50% share of 100% electric models.

On this occasion, Jeep provided details about the future generation of its 4xe carswith launch by 2025 four 100% electric SUVs : we will find Jeep Avenger, Jeep Recon and also a the new generation of Jeep Wagoneerwhich will be released in many markets around the world, including Europe.

Jeep Wagoneer S: American premium

The Jeep Wagoneer made history as the first large luxury 4×4 SUV when it was launched in 1963. A new generation of this Range Rover Velar competitor, codenamed the Wagoneer S, is on its way to release sixty years after the first opus, and this time it’s and will be 100% electric.

According to Jeep, the upcoming Wagoneer S will perpetuate the brand’s presence in the segment high class SUVmodern and unique design, elegant and aerodynamic, while offering crossover capabilities with off-road handling and advanced technology.

Jeep Wagoneer S: 600 electric horsepower

The performances already promise to be spectacular, with a 600 horsepowerand a Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds about. Thanks to the large-capacity battery, the model has to offer more than 640 km of autonomy :

Jeep Wagoneer S: Launch in 2024

Its exterior styling marks the upcoming Wagoneer S as a true member of the Jeep family with a Grille with LED lighting characteristic, as well as smooth lines that emphasize aerodynamic efficiency.

The new 100% electric Wagoneer will be unveiled to the public next year, while production is planned for 2024 in North America. Reservations will be open for American customers from the beginning of 2023, while it will have to wait a little longer for sales in other markets of the world, such as Europe, where it should land in 2024.
