
The long-awaited car of the year, the Peugeot 408 is official available for sale from yesterday. The French manufacturer offers a complete starter version with a plug-in hybrid engine. But be warned, this first edition will be available in a very limited number of copies.
Peugeot 408 First Edition, an offer for less than €50,000
Thus, September 1 of this year marks the official start of sales of the Peugeot 408. The lion brand opened sales of the initial version of the Plug-In Hybrid with a capacity of 225 horsepower. This “First Edition” model, in particular, will be equipped with 20-inch wheels, a private electric package or even a new Obsession Blue color. The price set by Peugeot is officially €50,600 but the manufacturer offers a small discount that allows reduce the bill to 49,850 euros. Peugeot also offers financing of €490 per month for 49 months after the first €7,900 lease payment. This offer applies to individual customers.

However, it should not be too late, because the offer is only valid for the first 300 customers. Orders are available on the Peugeot website.

Marketing is planned after the Paris Motor Show
Then there will be a Peugeot 408 available for bulk order after its official presentation at the Paris Motor Show next October. Peugeot confirms that the model will be available in Allure and GT trims. According to our estimates, The Peugeot 408 should be available between €33,000 and €35,000. The first deliveries should take place before the end of the year or at the beginning of 2023.
AND 100% electric version should also appear in the Peugeot catalog at the end of 2023.
