The Casino brand has decided to extend the “fuel work” for the summer holidays, which will reduce the bill for many motorists! https://t.co/SfW74jJthE

Many have been looking forward to this as fuel prices have started to rise again after a few weeks of lull. We are, of course, talking about the 30-cent discount on fuel voted a few weeks earlier. This is very good news for motorists, because the situation today remains very difficult. Indeed, petrol and diesel are starting to become more expensive again, and at some service stations prices are again approaching the two-euro mark. True, a discount has been in effect since April 1, but that’s all 18 cents and unfortunately doesn’t seem like enough to make up for the price increase. So much so that many drivers were forced to give up vacation time for budgetary reasons.

Nice discount
Starting with Thursday, September 1, so motorists will be able to take advantage of the upwardly revised discount of 30 cents. Great news, as it will apply to all service stations in France without distinction. And whether they are in the city or on the highways. Which will significantly reduce fuel costs, especially since this small increase will last for two months, until the 31st of October next. It will then be reduced to 10 cents in November and December, before disappearing for good at the end of the year. This discount will apply to all fuels, from petrol to diesel, including LPG, E85 and even CNG. No one will be left behind.
Discount in Total
But that’s not all. In effect, TotalEnergies is also offering an additional 20 cent discount during the same period at its service stations. But this time, LPG and E85, unfortunately, will not touch. Until September 4, Casino supermarkets offer fuel for 0.70 euros per liter, subject to certain conditions. Acceleration that is still of great interest to some motorists.
I am introducing a bill aimed at reducing gasoline taxes in the face of record high fuel prices and taxing oil company dividends.
A few days before the big holidays, this is an important topic for the French. pic.twitter.com/84UlSqaEBM
