Last weekend, Audi made a trip to the Pebble Beach 2022 Concours d’Elegance, but unlike its competitors, the German firm didn’t present anything new, instead contenting itself with broadcasting the first teaser photo of its upcoming concept car called the Audi ActiveSphere.
This will be the fourth installment of Audi’s “Sphere” concepts, which launched in August 2021, but the first three concepts of which were assembled for a drive in Monterey this weekend: the SkySphere roadster, the GrandSphere large sedan and the UrbanSphere city minivan.
Audi ActiveSphere Concept: adventurous GT
This first teaser image shows the Audi ActiveSphere Concept in the dark: we can make out the contours of the GT coupe, which could be converted into a fighter jet, and which resembles the Aston Martin DBX concept presented at the Paris Motor Show. Geneva in 2015.
The model has all-terrain tires, wide rims, increased ground clearance, as well as a peculiar footboard with checkered patterns in the lower part of the sides. The lines seem very clean and sleek, with fairly thin glass parts as well as optics. The grille is still hidden in the dark, but the bright Audi logo is already visible above it.
Progress does not wait. After creating 3 innovative concept cars, we wanted to continue imagining the possibilities that the future could offer us. Watch for a new era of premium experiences with the new Audi activesphere concept car pic.twitter.com/oMtnKWc6Cq

Audi ActiveSphere Concept: 100% electric motor
Like other Audi Sphere concept models, the Audi ActiveSphere Concept will be powered by a 100% electric motor and will be equipped with autonomous driving functions. Emphasizing the quality of life on board, Audi invites the passengers of these cars to relax or take advantage of the commute.
To complete previous concepts, the Audi ActiveSphere Concept, meanwhile, should offer opportunities to think outside the box.
Audi ActiveSphere Concept: presentation in early 2023
The Audi ActiveSphere Concept will be fully unveiled in early 2023, probably at the CES in Las Vegas, an event that brings together many players in the field of new technologies, but in which car manufacturers are increasingly investing.
As such, the Audi ActiveSphere Concept will complete the collection of Audi Sphere concepts that represent the brand’s vision for the 100% electric premium mobility of tomorrow.
