Volkswagen: 5 new models in 2023! News from Auto Plus in your smartphone News from Auto Plus in your mailbox

Next year will be rich for Volkswagen! The German manufacturer will release at least 5 different novelties. And this is on some of the most important models in its range. To make sure you don’t miss out on any of these new models, follow the guide…

Volkswagen ID.Buzz: an electric and retro van!

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz was introduced this year, but most of the first deliveries will take place in early 2023. And that already a success for electric van: orders already exceed 2022 production capacity! It must be said that the ID.Buzz builds on the strong capital of the old Combi with the added bonus of an electric architecture inherited from the ID.5 SUV. Retro-futuristic look, modular and concise interior, station wagons, minibuses, even vans… ID. The buzz is already buzzing. But at what cost: the first versions are not available below the fatal bar 60,000 euros…

Volkswagen Tiguan 3 (March 2023): The SUV is evolving

One of the best-selling models in the Volkswagen range, compact SUV Tiguan The third generation will be released in 2023. But we are not changing the winning recipe, and Volkswagen must carefully develop its star. Still sitting on the MQB platform (Golf, etc.), Tiguan 3 will not change much in its proportions. The styling will be more current, with a slightly more chiseled profile and possibly a larger light signature at the rear.

Inside, the 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan will be packed with technology, from equipment and screens to driver aids. It will be exclusively powered by hybrid powertrains, from 48V micro-hybrid gasoline and diesel engines to a hybrid engine that promises approximately 100 km range 100% electric. See you in March 2023!

Volkswagen ID.7 (2023): electric Passat!

Volkswagen continues to develop its 100% electric ID range. After the compact ID.3, SUV ID.4 and ID.5, but before the city car ID.2, here is…ID.7 ! It will be a large electric sedan. This will replace the Passat, which will not be updated as is. We already know its general appearance thanks to the ID.Aero concept. Not surprisingly, the very soft lines are close to the rest of the family, particularly the ID.5.

Almost 5 meters long and more than 600 km of autonomy announced that the ID.7 is clearly aimed at the Tesla Model S, with less performance and a more affordable price on the menu. Production will begin at the end of 2023.

Volkswagen Passat SW (May 2023): new generation, only in station wagon!

As we just saw, the Passat will not be updated and will disappear in 2023. Yes, but… He will return in the estate version ! The sedan will thus die in favor of the ID.7, but the new generation Passat SW will look good. There will be style inspired by Golf 8, or even heralds an updated version of the compact. With a length of approximately 4.80 m and a traditional gap profile, the Passat SW plays a driving role. It will reintroduce micro-hybrid (petrol and diesel) and battery hybrid (200 to 300 hp) engines from the rest of the range. Pricing should begin below 45,000 euros.

Volkswagen Golf 8 restyling (November 2023): childhood mistakes corrected?

The eighth generation of the Volkswagen Golf remains benchmark for compact sedans. Everyone agrees with its versatility, and its simplified style does not shock anyone. But internally, this generation caused controversy when it was launched in late 2019. Indeed, many controls, including air conditioning, lighting and radio, are now touch-sensitive. Not to mention all the features that are now available through the screen. Short, confusing ergonomics which is a challenge in the balance for the rest is very flattering. The restyling version, which should be released at the end of 2023, will correct these shortcomings.

Under the hood of this Restyled Volkswagen Golf 8we should find the gasoline and diesel micro-hybrid units already mentioned above, as well as two redesigned battery hybrids.
