
Launched in 2018 Lamborghini Urus is now celebrating its four-year career: it is an important model for the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm, as it has allowed it to double its sales since its launch, with more than 20 thousand copies products today.

Restyled Lamborghini Urus: the copy is still camouflaged

Lamborghini Urus: a new record at Pikes Peak
Starting at an altitude of 2,862 meters, Simone Fagioli covered 156 bends of no less than 20 km, climbing to an additional height of 1,439 meters with an average gradient of 7%.
He crossed the finish line at 4302 meters, p time 10:32.064. The Urus broke both the manufacturer’s previous non-racing record of 12:35.610 set by Paul Dallenbach in 2014 and the current race record of 10:49.902 held by Rhys Millen set in 2018 in a Bentley Bentayga.
Lamborghini Urus: more efficient twin-turbo V8 engine
A small flat, a vehicle used on Pikes Peak is not a production Lamborghini Urus : it is equipped with a roll bar, the cabin was empty to accommodate a racing seat with six-point seat belts, and a fire extinguishing system was installed.
The 285/40 R22 and 325/35 R22 tires are an evolution of the standard Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tire for the Urus: it semi-slick tires which provide more grip. There is under the hood twin-turbo V8 engine : according to rumors, this one should develop to 700 horsepower on version Effective Urus, which is about to be introduced.
Lamborghini chose Pikes Peak as the first mountain to be conquered by the new facelifted Urus, setting an impressive production SUV record of 10:32.064, 17 seconds faster than Bentley’s 2018 record!
