Radar Auto is headed by Dr. Lin Shi Quan, an engineer who has led many major projects at Geely and Lynk & Co. The new company has research and development facilities in Hangzhou, China, as well as a manufacturing site in Zibo, in China’s Shandong province. In the last quarter of 2022, the first model will be released: the Radar RD6.

Radar RD6: 100% electric recreational pickup
Geely wasted no time in announcing the first car in the Radar line: a 100% electric pickup baptized RD6 radaris based on the SEA platform, which will allow it to offer several versions equipped with one or two electric motors.
Unlike its competitors, which position their pickups as SUVs, Radar offers the RD6 a true companion for outdoor recreation with a large body, as well as a trunk in the front part under the hood. The litter box even has outlets for powering electrical appliances during outdoor adventures.

The cabin has a modern atmosphere with a large touch screen, as well as a fully digital instrument panel.
