According to Transelectrica and Moldelectrica, on Wednesday, around 11:00, Romania exported approximately 500 MW to the Republic of Moldova, which then went to Ukraine.

Transelectrica representatives clarified to HotNews.ro that Romania offers assistance at the request of the Ukrainian transport and system operator on the basis of a bilateral agreement on assistance in emergency situations (Contract on mutual emergency energy supply to ensure system services between the energy systems of Ukraine and Romania) and in the manner established by this agreement

More than 1 million electricity consumers in Ukraine were left without electricity after Russian aircraft struck several energy facilities overnight on Thursday, a senior presidential official in Kyiv said on Friday.
