Red Bull employee who accused Christian Horner of inappropriate behavior will file an appeal
An employee who Red Bull suspended her last week from the office, accused the group leader of inappropriate behavior and control.
She will ask Red Bull to reconsider its decision, which was made following an investigation by a lawyer. Horner, 50, has always denied the allegations against him.
The allegations against Horner surfaced in early February, but an investigation into his conduct began nearly a month ago. Red Bull has appointed an external lawyer to investigate the claims. After his report was presented to the company’s board of directors, it decided to dismiss the complaint.
Horner said it was time to draw a line in the controversy amid continued speculation about the independence of the investigation and why Red Bull made the decision.
The plaintiff’s decision to take action in response to Red Bull’s actions is further evidence that this dispute will continue for some time to come.
If Red Bull rejects the woman’s case again, she will have the option to file a lawsuit against Red Bull and Horner.
Red Bull declined to provide more details about the case, citing confidentiality, and said it “cannot comment” on the reasons for the woman’s suspension, News.ro reports.
