On Thursday morning, in Bucharest and in the districts of Olt, Dolj, Gorz, Teleorman and Vilca, a hundred searches were carried out regarding fictitious purchases of waste for the purpose of obtaining bonuses. Charges in the case are tax evasion, fraud, false declarations and use of forgery, damages are estimated at 3.6 million lei.

As a result of the research, it became clear that during 2021, the administrator of a commercial company from the city of Korabiya recorded fictitious purchases of packaging waste (approximately 2,000 tons) in the company’s accounting records in order to obtain monetary sums. under the name of bonuses from organizations that implement the extended responsibility of the producer (OIREP) for achieving the goals of packaging waste valorization, thus causing losses to the state budget, approximately 3,600,000 lei.

The search is being carried out with the support of the IPJ Olt Special Action Service fighters, the police district police inspectorates of Teleorman, Dolj, Vâlcea, Gorj and DGPMB – Police Sector 1.
