Allego: strategic partnership
Founded in 2013 in the Netherlands, Allego landed in France in 2022. Since then, the company has created numerous partnership with French brandswhich allowed him to install his charging stations for electric cars in the parking lots of the Géant Casino or the Carrefour stores, not forgetting the Klepierre shopping centers and the Pathé cinemas.
These partnerships are strategic as they are particularly targeted at places frequented by French customers, with shopping centers, leisure facilities or restaurants. Enough to facilitate the charging of these different customers’ electric vehicles during breaks, and to improve the network of public charging stations in France, essential for motorists when traveling or those who do not have a charging solution at home.
Last year, France not without difficulties overcame the barrier of 100,000 public charging stations located throughout the country. On average, there are about 165 charging stations per 100,000 inhabitants of France.
The government’s goal in this area is ambitious, as Emmanuel Macron wants to achieve it 400,000 charging stations in France by 2030.
