Farul Constanta took another important step towards the play-offs after a 1-0 win at Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe in the penultimate match of the 26th Super League stage.

Although Sepsi controlled the game in terms of possession, the Constantinians had several opportunities to score.

The second half started with a goal by Pavol Safrank, which was disallowed by VAR for offside.

Farul scored the final goal through Konstantin Grameni in the 87th minute after regulation, the ball was deflected by an opponent’s defender after crossing the goal line.

After this result, Farul scores 40 points and is ahead of the University of Craiova in the ranking, while Sepsi remains in ninth place with 33 points.
