Dynamo Bucharest have announced the signing of Edgar Ihe, a defender who joined Barcelona early in his career and was valued at €7.5m.

According to Transfermarkt, Edgar Yeo’s market capitalization was €7.5m (January 2022) and he is currently valued at €1.7m.

Free since January 30, after the conclusion of contractual relations with the Turks from Basaksehir, the new player of Dynamo from Sunday is central defender Edgar Miguel Ie.

29-year-old, born in Bissau, Edgar Miguel Ie has dual citizenship, Guinea-Bissau and Portugal. He was part of Guinea-Bissau’s African Cup of Nations squad that started last month, starting in a 1-0 draw against Nigeria on 22 January.

Formed in Portugal, at the football school of Sporting Lisbon, Edgar Miguel Ie was transferred to Barcelona at the age of 18. He played one match for the first team (Huesca v Barcelona 0-4 in the Copa del Rey) and 48 matches for Barcelona B before being loaned out to Villarreal B.
