Thanks to the new platform, the compact device is electrified. The images show a modern design inspired by the Centoventi concept. Production will take place in Serbia and market entry is expected in late 2024 or early 2025 at an estimated price of under €25,000.

First electric

July 11, 2024 will remain engraved in the annals of the village Fiat, which proudly celebrates its 125th anniversary with the long-awaited presentation of the new generation of Panda. This great event also signifies the coming departure of the current generation, paving the way for a new and promising era.
Tireless researchers recently got a taste of this metamorphosis thanks to photos sent to patent authorities by Stellantis, Fiat’s parent company. These images spark the imagination of scoop hunters, laying the groundwork for the next successor to the Treaty of Turin.
On the Smart Car platformwhich already worked in the recent Citroën C3 and its electric version ë-C3, the new Fiat Panda promises to have compact dimensions: 4015 mm in length, 1815 mm in width and 1577 mm in height.
Taking a cue from its French cousin, the Panda could be powered by a 113hp electric motor, accompanied by a 44kWh battery, which would increase its range to around 300km. A 100kW quick charge will allow you to recover from 20% to 80% capacity in just half an hour. It is also rumored that thermal options will be available soon.

Pretty close to the concept

From an aesthetic point of view, clean and decisive modern lines seem to greet the Centoventi concept presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, thus outlining the contours of the new generation Panda. The front end features a ‘closed’ grille that unsurprisingly reveals the electric motor, while the thermal variant may inherit the vertical vents, reminiscent of the first-generation Panda’s design.
The improved appearance and overall proportions indicate a technical link with the Citroën C3, keeping the essence of the previous Panda generations, abandoning such distinguishing features as the third side window or vertically oriented light units. Thus, the new Panda, while honoring its heritage, resolutely focuses on the future of mobility. As for production, the birthplace of the new Panda is considered to be the factory in Kragujevac, Serbia, the heir to Zastava’s industrial past. Commercialization should start at the end of the year or even at the beginning of 2025.

As for prices, everything indicates that the cost of the entrance ticket will be less than 25,000 eurosbut of course official confirmation is still awaited.
