​Ivan Rakitić is leaving the Spanish championship after 13 years, the Croatian midfielder will play for the Saudi Arabian team “Al-Shabab”.

Ivan Rakitic will play for the team from Saudi Arabia “Al-Shabab”.

Rakitic started his career in “Basel”, and then was transferred to “Schalke” (2007-2011, 135 matches).

The midfielder then moved to La Liga, where he played for Sevilla (2011-2014 and 2020-2024, 323 matches) and Barcelona (2014-2020, 310 matches).

For the Croatian national team, Ivan played 15 matches in 106 matches and reached the final of the 2018 World Cup.

Rakitic (35) will be a colleague in Al-Shabaab with Romain Sais, Habib Diallo and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.
