Bianca Stenica and Cosmin Nedelea, an exceptional result for Romania
The Corona Braşov team took 5th place at the Ice Skating World Cup in Salt Lake City. The medley relay team of Bianca Stanike and Cosmin Nedelea finished 5th at the World Cup in Salt Lake City, while Michaela Hogas finished 16th in Group B’s 1000m in a season-best performance, reports as. ro.
“I am extremely happy with the 5th place at the World Cup in the mixed gender relay. This is a unique feeling. I have been preparing intensively for this test and MEX and Bianca made a great team for this difficult competition. From the very beginning, we felt a connection with this sample and realized that it suits us. It is a very tactical and adrenaline-filled competition with incredible speed and many crucial decisions at the last minute.
A great result was also achieved by Michaela Hogas, who took 16th place in the 1000m, showing the best running time of the season. Michaela moves from one competition to another, and her future is bright. It was the most difficult World Cup this season, in which 275 athletes from 27 countries took part.
I am extremely happy with these results and with achieving my goal of qualifying more and more competitors for the Senior World Championships every year. The most important thing is that everyone is part of the Crown of the Club.” – said the sportsman’s coach Bohdan Stanescu.
