Adrian Mutu wants to win the title with CFR Cluj

CFR Cluj loses ground in the fight against FCSB after an unexpected setback on the field of FC Botosani.

Frustrated with the result, Gruia-based financier Nelutsa Varga sacked Andrea Mandorlini and the multiple Romanian champions brought in Adrian Muta, who was out of contract after parting ways with Neftchi Baku.

On Wednesday, the 45-year-old technician was officially presented at the CFR, and Mutu also sent a few words for the fans of Cluj and beyond.

“I started a new chapter. A new story in which determination and dedication are the main elements. It is time to use all my accumulated knowledge both as a player and as a technical specialist at the service of the most successful team in Romania in recent years. I am proud and honored to be a part of this family. From now on, Gruia will be home.

I came with big thoughts. It is an honor to be in such a titled team as ChFR Cluj. I’m glad we made it to the end and I hope we can do good things together.

I think Ligue 1 has grown in recent years and the fact that I am now at CFR makes me responsible because we don’t have many chances, we only have one – to win. We have no other goal than to win the title and, of course, the European Cup. There are no other heads in this club for many years!

I promise the fans that I will work more than 100%, I will give everything.” Adrian Mutu said in an interview with CFR’s YouTube channel.
