
FCSB recorded their most convincing win of the season and are 11 points clear of second place. The Red and Blues defeated UTA 4:0 in the last match of the 22nd stage of the Super League.

The team under the leadership of Elias Haralambous took full advantage of the defeats against the University of Craiova and CFR Cluj and increased the distance from the second place.
Aredeni started the attack, and in the 15th minute Ariel Lopez hit the crossbar.
However, Darius Olaru took the stage and opened the score with a free kick from the penalty area in the 20th minute.
Two minutes later, the FCSB captain managed to score a double after a mistake in the opponent’s defense.
It could have been 3-0 in the 39th minute when Octavian Popescu scored a superb goal, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
In the 66th minute, Darius Olaru scored a hat-trick from the penalty spot after a phase in which the video referee intervened.
In the 82nd minute, the score was closed by the former player of “Arada” David Mikulescu after the assist of the newcomer Bab Alhassan.
FCSB consolidates its first position with 47 points, 11 more than CFR Cluj and Rapid.
