
Russian colonel Arman Ospanov would have died if he stepped on a mine, Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, reported on Monday with reference to Russian channels in the Telegram application.
According to Herashchenko, Arman Ospanov held a senior position in the Air Force of the Russian Federation and visited the occupied territories of Ukraine to raise the morale of the troops. There he stepped on a mine and died,” Gerashchenko wrote.
The information was also made public by the X (former Twitter) account “Russian officers died in Ukraine.” This account says he gathers his information from obituaries, obituaries, memorial plaques, and the Russian press.
