In the second set, the Latvian could not stand it, losing one with a score of 6-4, and at the end of the game she admitted that she becomes “uncontrollable” when she misses important points.

“I’m very angry with myself. I am a fighter and I really want to play almost perfectly. I realize that nothing is perfect, but this is my way of being,” she added Olena Ostapenko at the end of the match with Karolina Pliskova.

As a reminder, Ostapenko is the champion of Grand Slam tournaments, a title won in 2017 at Roland Garros after the final against Simona Halep.
