Serbia beat the Czech Republic 2-1 on Tuesday at the United Nations Cup despite Novak Djokovic complaining of pain in his right wrist, according to international media.

World No. 1 Djokovic needed treatment during his match against Jiri Lehecka (31 ATP), whom he defeated 6-1, 6-7(3), 6-1.

The Serbian is hoping to win his 11th Australian Open this month.

The first singles match ended with the victory of the Czech Marketa Vondrousova (7 WTA) over the Serbian Olga Danilovich (121 WTA) 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

The mixed doubles match was decisive, in which Olga Danylovych and Hamad Medzhedovych dramatically defeated Miriam Kolodzeyova and Petra Nouza with a score of 4-6, 7-6 (7), 10-8, Agerpres informs.
