
Even if the design of the future Xiaomi SU7 it’s no longer a secret, particularly thanks to images released by China’s MIIT, that the upcoming 100% electric sedan from the Chinese electronics giant has yet to be officially unveiled. It was in this context that new photos of the model were leaked in China: they were taken during a strictly confidential shoot, one model was wearing an elegant light blue dress.
According to information published by CarNewsChina, which published these photos, the author of these images risks a fine of 3 million yuan (approximately 382,000 euros) for violating the confidentiality agreement.
Xiaomi SU7: two engines and up to 800 km of autonomy
In the spring of 2021, Xiaomi announced its ambitions to become a car manufacturer investments in the amount of almost 1.3 billion euros to release its first electric car in 2024, which was being developed by 3,400 engineers.
Even if the specifications of the Xiaomi SU7 have not yet been revealed, information released by MIIT, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which is responsible for vehicle approvals, indicates that it will be over 4,997 meters long and have two engines : simple motorization 299 horsepowerand the twin engine develops 673 horsepower total (299 hp + 374 hp).

Two batteries will be offered: an entry-level version with volume 73.6 kWhoffering from 628 to 668 km of autonomy depending on the engine, and the second version 101 kW/hoffering from 750 km to 800 km of autonomy depending on the engine (Chinese CLTC cycle).
The presentation of Xiaomi SU7 is expected at the end of this month December 2023, even though the Chinese firm recently denied wanting to hold a press conference on December 28 to reveal its electric sedan. Orders will open immediately, with first deliveries due in 2024.
However, Xiaomi SU7 prices are rumored to start at CNY 190,000, which is equivalent to approx. 24,200 euros.
