The announcement of the 57 square meter apartment for rent caused a wave of irony and jokes among a group of tenants in Cluj-Napoca, the city where the offer is available.
“The Tsar lives here?! Not yet, but they can. Premium 2-room apartment for rent Iulius Mall, FSEGA Area 57 sq.m., fully equipped, parking included. The price is 1,200 euros,” reads the ad posted by a real estate agent in the “Rentals Cluj-Napoca” group on Facebook.
Since the group is not public, the photo of the apartment in question can be viewed on the website of the agency that rents it.
Even if the house is indeed very modernly furnished, the huge price has caused a wave of sharp comments, considering that the rather small apartment is not even in the central area of the city, although the Mereshti district in which it is located. one of the most expensive in Cluj-Napoca due to its proximity to FSEGA, the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration of the Babes Bolyai University.
“It’s beautiful, nothing to comment on, but we can write a book about it,” notes one of the members of the “Chirii Cluj-Napoca” group, and a young woman wonders if “the queen can’t live” [aici]? or a princess?’, joking that the remark across the street for a ‘king’ is a form of discrimination.

- – Isn’t this a bigger studio?
- “HOW DO YOU HIRE THESE AGENTS?!”
- “Are pets allowed to bring my oxen and cattle from the kingdom to the new palace?”
- “He’s a king until he pays the first rent and advance, then he’s a pauper.”
- “It seems to me that this king is an IT geek, has a livestock farm and only makes fans.”
