
World number two Carlos Alcaraz has announced that he will take part in the Argentina Open, an ATP 250 tournament in Buenos Aires (February 10-18).

The 20-year-old champion of Wimbledon 2023 published a video in which he announced that he will try to defend his trophy won last yearin Argentina, after the final with British Cameron Norrie (6-3, 7-5).
Stanislas Wawrinka, Arthur Fils, Cameron Norrie and Francisco Cerundolo also confirmed their presence at the tournament in Argentina.
Carlos Alcaraz had a great 2023 season, winning tournaments in Buenos Aires (ATP 250), Indian Wells (ATP Masters 1000), Barcelona (ATP 500), Madrid (ATP Masters 1000), London, Queen’s Club (ATP 500) and Wimbledon (Grand Slam).

The Argentina Open in Buenos Aires is part of the ATP 250 and is held on clay. The last champions are Casper Ruud (2020, 2022), Diego Schwartzman (2021) and Carlos Alcaraz (2023).
