Napoli – Cagliari 2-1, in Serie A – Osimen and Kvaratzhelia decided the game

After back-to-back defeats to Inter and Juventus, last season’s Serie A champions were not in good spirits ahead of the relegation battle against Cagliari.

Despite the hosts’ possession and goalless situations, the first half ended with no changes on the scoreboard.

The second half also brought goals, with all three scored in just six minutes.

Last season’s top scorer Viktor Osimen opened the scoring in the 69th minute of the match, but Pavoletti equalized three minutes later.

Three more minutes later, Osimkhen fed Khvich Kvaratshelii, and the Georgian football player scored the winning goal.

The team coached by Walter Mazzarri collects 27 points and climbs to fourth place, 11 points ahead of leaders Inter Milan, who also have a game in hand.
