Now, and already several years ago, all cars must pass a technical inspection in order to be admitted to circulation. An examination which must then be carried out every two years and which may sometimes lead to a repeat visit in some cases. This was introduced to make the roads safer by ensuring that cars are in good condition to be able to travel. But now the government is going to extend this duty to unlicensed cars as well as two-wheelers. And this measure is difficult to convey to interested persons.
It’s official #FFMC calls for a boycott.

A call for a boycott
For several months French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) is intensifying protests against the state’s decision. Which doesn’t change anything, since the latter was indeed officially recorded. But the bikers want to go even further and have no intention of allowing it. Thus, representatives of the association call on all motorcyclists to boycott the MOT en masse when it comes into effect next year. An act of resistance, as the organization explains.
Convincing result?
The question is whether this form of protest will bear fruit. Which is not surprising, because some people remember that the motorcycle sticker boycott, which was under Valery Giscard d’Estaing, was finally canceled. But FFMC also had unlike the Crit’Air stickerand the protest unfortunately did not work, despite calls for a mass boycott.
