Romanians who want to install photovoltaic panels on their roofs with state support will receive just 10,000 lei each, compared to 20,000 lei as before. The information is contained in the draft TrenuleČ› Resolution, which was submitted for public discussion today.
“In 2024, the funding provided through the Program for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems for the production of electricity to cover consumption needs and deliver the surplus to the national grid is 10,000 lei/applicant,” the text of the draft regulation states.
This amount represents half of what prosumers have received so far through the Casa Verde PV program.
Also, through Casa Verde, prospectors were promised money for batteries
The reduction of the amount per applicant is a surprise and contradicts recent statements by the authorities, who announced that through the Casa Verde program, subsidies will be provided not only for photovoltaic panels, but also for batteries.
In this way, consumers can also consume the electricity produced by their own panels in the evening, even if they are not at home during the day, as Gabriel Andronake, vice president of ANRE, said at the end of November.
For his part, the Minister of Energy Sebastian Burduja announced that he agreed with his counterpart for the environment, Mircea Feset, that the next Green House program will also include funds for the purchase of photovoltaic energy accumulators.
“Battery storage is expensive, and without support, it’s not profitable for consumers,” Burduya noted.
