
Volkswagen ID.7 has arrived in Romania as the top of the line of Volkswagen electric cars. The ID.7 is priced from €53,335 (incl. VAT) and up, with an approved range (WLTP) of 621 km. The car is present in the main shopping centers of the country, in December 2023 – January 2024, you can also see it at dealers, and deliveries to the first buyers will begin in the spring. In 2024, a wagon version of the model will also be sold, one with all-wheel drive (GTX) and one with a larger battery.
In terms of size and price, the ID.7 is positioned between the Tesla Model 3 and the Tesla Model S. Otherwise, the ID.7 currently has no direct competitor on the market. Its dimensions are close to the Volkswagen Arteon.
The ID.7 is also called the electric Passat because the sedan version of the Passat no longer exists. Its place was taken by the ID.7, which looks like a sedan but has a liftback like the Skoda Superb.
