Having reached the quarter-finals, having beaten the main favorite of the tournament, Norway, in the last group game, France passed the Czech Republic without emotion.
The first half was spent on counterattacks, and the score, which at one point showed a difference of four goals in favor of the French, was reduced towards the end (18-16).
Instead, the second half was left to the discretion of Olivier Krumbholz’s pupils, who went on the field and won the game with a difference of 11 goals.
In the semi-finals, France will face the winner of Sweden and Germany, who meet on Wednesday.
The Netherlands will face Norway in the second quarter-final on Tuesday at 21:30.
