We are all fast no matter what we say. And it’s not for nothing that we were all in a hurry or simply weren’t vigilant enough. Fortunately, in most cases it went unnoticed and we did not receive a fine. But it is true that some motorists are clearly excessively lenient and sometimes lead to crazy speeds, which threaten other road users. Not to mention noise pollution caused by engine noise and exhaust fumes in some cases. This may annoy some people, understandably so.

A smart decision
It got to the point that a local resident decided to take the bull by the horns and act accordingly find your peace. The events take place in the town of Saint-Hilaire-de-Loges, located in the Vendée. A 50-year-old resident can no longer tolerate the repeated speeding on his street, which causes a lot of trouble and obviously poses a significant danger. Therefore, he found a radical but effective solution: to install a fake radar. And it works very well, as the speed limit on this street has been significantly reduced to 50 km/h.
Real radar soon?
If the resident is supported by the neighbors, then the municipality does not support either, which is rather strange. The mayor spoke out, saying that “ we wouldn’t be here if all motorists obeyed the 50km/h speed limit instead of driving this road at 80 or even 100km/h“. Negotiations are now underway with the departmental council to install a real radarto dissuade motorists who would understand the deception.
