As you probably know if you follow the automotive news closely, new car prices have risen quite significantly in recent months, which we regularly report for you on Auto Plus.
The Alpine A110 is no exception to the rule, and the manufacturer has just unveiled its 2024 catalog with new promotions and, surprise, a little news.
More than a €10,000 increase over six years
For context, let’s go back to 2018, the year the 252bhp A110 was launched. With a base price of €55,000 and a very modest €860 fine at the time, it was priced at €62,500 in 2023 with €1,761 tax.
It will be necessary to pay in 2024 65,000 euros and a fine of 2,544 euros due to CO emissions2 allowed from 152 g/km. Its price goes up, but so does its standard equipment, as it now gets 18-inch wheels, big 320mm Brembo brakes and some new parts inside.
Other Alpine A110s were also affected
At the same time, prices for other models have also increased. A GT version with the 300bhp engine from the S and the same chassis setup as the base A110 is shown with 76,000 euros (+€3,500 compared to 2023), while the A110 S requires 77,500 euros (+€3,000 compared to 2023).
The untracked A110R appears to still be in the catalog and shown on 112,000 euros, as well as in 2023. There’s also a bit of news, as the Turini version of the A110 R is now available. It has all the trappings of an R, but replaces the carbon fiber rims with 18-inch aluminum GT Race wheels.
The bill is less steep and reduced by 6,000 euros 106,000 euros… almost the same price as the R with carbon wheels in early 2023 (€105,000).
