Rezvan Lucescu’s side, PAOK Thessaloniki, claimed another victory in the Greek Super League, scoring 3-0 at home against Lamia to move up to second position, just two points behind leaders Panathinaikos.

PAOK Thessaloniki, tight fight for the title in Greece

PAOK of Greece won the fourth consecutive championship and came dangerously close to the leader Panathinaikos.

After Olympiakos, Panetolikos and Panserraikos, it was Lamia’s turn to suffer a decisive defeat against Rezvan Lucescu’s team.

Yannis Constantelias opened the scoring in the 21st minute and Portugal’s Rafa scored in the 43rd minute to level the score at half-time.

At low speed in the second half, the Thessaloniki form scored again through Joan Sastre for an emphatic victory.

Thanks to this result, PAOK scores 29 points and climbs to the second position in the table, two less than the leader Panathinaikos.
