Rezvan Burleanu wants Romania to pass the groups – Mihai Stoicice is confident, at least 4 points for Euro 2024

President of the Football Federation of Romania, Rezvan Burleanu, believes that the national team must surpass itself in order to achieve outstanding results.

His first goal was to get out of the groups.

“If we look at this group, we should not think about our rivals. It will be a battle against themselves, so if our players have the ability to overcome themselves, they will surely achieve outstanding results.

This Euro should represent a stage in the development of the most important generation in the last 20 years. And it is obvious that the intermediate goal is exit from the groups.

The technical staff will analyze already known rivals Belgium and Slovakia, and then we wait for March. We expect Israel to be one of the teams in the final, probably with Ukraine, a very competitive team.

I would like to repeat the great experience of 2016 when we played the opening match against France, so I would like to play against Germany.

I am confident that the team has enormous potential for growth in the coming months. It will be a struggle to overcome yourself” – said Rezvan Burleanureports News.ro.

And the technical director of FRF, Mihai Stojcice, was full of optimism after knowing the group and declared that we will get at least four points.

“Can I say something? At least four. That’s what I’m getting at. I say we score at least four points. We were not visibly happy. Or at least I didn’t show it.

When it’s just us, maybe we still express our feelings, but there we are protocol. I didn’t smile. Inside, I still laughed every now and then, but I couldn’t show it.” – announced Mihai Stoichitsefor Fanatik.

The team coached by Edi Iordenescu will play at Euro 2024 against Belgium, Slovakia and Bosnia, Ukraine, Israel or Iceland.
