
Rooney O’Sullivan is through to the semi-finals of the British Championships after beating China’s Yuelong Zhou 6-5.

The world leader reached 100 victories at the British Championship.
Rooney made a great start to Yuelong Zhou, taking a 3-0 lead, but the Chinese produced a superb comeback and came close to springing a surprise.
Zhou, ranked 26th in the world, converted to take a 5-4 lead, but the Briton leveled to claim victory in the final frame.
In the semifinals, Rooney O’Sullivan will fight for a place in the final action with Iran’s Hossein Vafai, who beat China’s Zhang Anda 6-4.

The UK Championship will take place from 25 November to 3 December at the York Barbican with a total prize fund of £1,205,000. The champion of the last edition is Mark Allen.
