Jacqueline, the third favorite of the Iberian tournament, took advantage of her opponent’s departure with a score of 6-1, 3-0 in her favor.

Russian Rebecca Sramkova (130th place WTA – 27 years old – sixth seed) was forced to withdraw. The game lasted only 44 minutes.
