“President Radev’s message does not support diplomacy, but rather serves the interests of the aggressor state,” the Ukrainian diplomatic mission emphasizes, reminding that the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began almost 10 years ago, in February 2014. also stated that negotiations with the aggressor are an impossible option.

“Until Russia returns to respect for the international legal order, until it withdraws its troops from the territory of Ukraine within the national and international borders recognized since 1991, there will be no peace in Europe. Calls for peace and negotiations have no effect in the face of terrorists, who are encouraged by the Russian political leadership to commit mass crimes against the civilian population.

It is important to emphasize that the liberation and protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity are the duties of the state and the armed forces, enshrined in the constitution of any modern democratic state.

After almost a hundred thousand crimes registered in Ukraine as evidence in the International Criminal Court, after violations of all norms of warfare, after nuclear blackmail, peace can and must be achieved only on the terms stipulated in the Peace. The formula proposed by the President of Ukraine and supported by the international community,” reads the message of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Sofia.
