Mural with David Popovici on a block in Bucharest: “Write your story through sports”

The painting can be admired on Ștefan cel Mare Road no. 35 and created by Shatran and Biex (Sweet Damage Crew) for Outline StreetArt Festival, 3rd edition.

“Write your story through sports!” is the message that David Popovich sent to the youth through artists.

“The tenants agreed with our idea, so this image of a great athlete on a very busy street appeared quite quickly.

This is a painted mural that took tens of liters of washable paint and about 200 sprays, we had some problems because it was raining so it worked for about 10 days.

We have been painting something like this for more than 5 years, during which time we have already reached more than 20,000 square meters. We want everything to turn out well, we use quality materials, hoping to change the face of the capital” – Liviu Zoril (EDIT Association), reports ProSport.

David Popovichi won five medals at the national swimming championship in Otopeni:

  • gold at the distance of 100 meters freestyle
  • gold at the distance of 200 meters freestyle
  • gold in the 4×50 meter mixed relay
  • gold at the distance of 50 meters freestyle
  • bronze at the distance of 100 meters in the complex.
