Farul Constanța ended the Romanian Cup with a 1-0 defeat away to FC Buzău. The champion of Romania has two defeats in a row and is eliminated from the competition.

Farul Constanta is officially out of the Romanian Cup.

Gike Hagi’s team also lost their second match in the group stage with a score of 1:0 to FC Buzeu.

The Romanian champions approached this game with a few reservations in the first 11, something that was also visible on the pitch.

In the first half of the home team, Andreas Mihaiu hit the crossbar, and Doikaru also missed an important chance for the Constantinians.

In the second half, the home team rushed to the Buzbuchi goal, missing great opportunities to open the scoring. Finally Dumitrake scored 1-0 at the end of a great action (min. 86).
