The general councilors of the Capital will meet on Tuesday, from 10:00, among the projects on the agenda, including those related to investments of more than 1.5 billion lei for the modernization of metering, as well as for the introduction of new automated systems at heat points.

* The first project involves the approval of the technical and economic justification and technical and economic indicators of the implementation of the project “Modernization of thermal energy measurement systems”. 40,009 thermal energy meters will be installed, of which 34,454 are on the secondary circuit (neighborhoods, buildings, economic entities), 1,200 are on the primary circuit (thermal points, blocks, economic entities), 106 are on TPP, 21 on CT Casa Presei. The total value of the investment is 720 million lei, including VAT, of which construction and installation works amount to 200 million lei, Agerpres reports.

* The second project provides for the approval of the technical and economic justification and technical and economic indicators for the implementation of new automated systems for thermal points and a new system of supervision and operational management for thermal points, modules, nodes and thermal installations, as well as regarding the mailing from the administration of LLC “Termoenergetika” . The total cost of the project is 814 million lei, including VAT.

* Two loan projects for a total of 402 million lei are on the agenda. The project involves concluding contracts or guaranteeing internal revolving financing for a total amount of up to 283,520,561 lei, with a repayment period of up to 10 years. The loan agreement was entered into to refinance the local public debt arising from the capital contributions due in 2024 related to the reimbursable financing entered into directly by the municipality. The second project is aimed at contracting or guaranteeing reimbursable financing for a total amount of up to 118,645,000 lei with a maturity of up to 10 years. Loans are concluded to ensure co-financing of projects financed from European funds.

* Another draft law refers to the modernization of 20 heating points that serve more than 340 buildings with more than 16,300 apartments and about 40,000 tenants. The draft regulation provides for the approval of the temporary use of some lands belonging to the municipality of Bucharest, as part of the modernization project of 20 thermal points, using modular thermal energy production capacities for the heating network of the municipality of Bucharest, in order to place modular containers.

* The general councilors will also discuss the project to regulate the conditions of use of self-service rental electric scooters through public online platforms of the Municipality of Bucharest.
