New steps were taken to build a new stadium in Timisoara. Alin Nice, president of the Timișoara County Council, published photos of the stadium project.
The arena, called “unique” by the same local politician, would have 32,000 seats and cost 137 million euros, meaning it would be the second largest in Romania both in terms of capacity and cost, according to National Arena.

In the near future, the demolition of the current arena in Timisoara will begin, and a new stadium will be built in its place.
